Star soccer organization is a community based organization. Star soccer academy is part and parcel of the organization. It was founded by Rashid Shedu who is a former player and coach of Harambee Stars. He has vast experience in youth football as he was the head coach of national youth teams U17, U20, U23 as well as assistant coach of harambee stars. He is a role model and father figure to the upcoming footballers. He has achieved so much from football, he has travelled across Africa and beyond both as a player and as a coach and he wants to use his knowledge, experience, qualifications as well as his success to uplift the standard of soccer from grassroots.

We mainly focus on development through football, as an advocate of football for development we want to pioneer a number of renowned footballers to realize their dreams to become professional players. We are committed in providing a family oriented and safe atmosphere for young boys and girls. Our mission is to reach out to the students, we believe this project will unearth and nurture young boys and girls with hidden talents and we want to assist them in their progression into successful and professional players. The training programs are designed to give basic technical and tactical excises and small sided games to develop their game and improve their decision making.(competitive and recreation) We will give the boys and girls a chance to show case their talent locally, regionally as well as to foreign tournaments across Europe.

Football can positively influence in lives of individuals and groups. Apart from nurturing talent, we have put into consideration methodologies to develop and address fundamental prospect for individual development, positive life change, critical thinking, communication, self-esteem and decision making. The group will be required to actively participate and create a safe space, team- based environment in which participants will comfortably exchange ideas, improve their knowledge and have fun. With our partners Vijana Amani Pamoja, (VAP) and Tackle Africa will conduct life skills programs.

The program targets boys and girls of ages between 8 to18 years. We will hold free soccer clinics for three days. The school shall choose the ideal days; the free clinics shall not interfere with the learning program but can be incorporated with PE classes or after school classes in the evenings.
After the free soccer clinics we hope to start charging each participant interested to develop his soccer skills. The program will kick off on weekends and during school holidays.

Those who will show improved talent will be incorporated and given an opportunity to play for our senior team, which will be playing for the county league.

Star soccer organization will greatly appreciate our partnership towards youth empowerment and helping us to achieve our vision of having a society that is socially, and healthy empowered.
